Abstract	The process of the manual creation of the realistic models is labor-intensive. In order to facilitate the modeling process we propose a fully automatic method for determining the lightscattering properties of objects from photographs taken with a digital camera. In this work we also propose new reflectance model of the textured and metallic coating surfaces.
